Sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) has reached a turning point. It's no longer ambition but commercial-scale delivery. At the recent Sustainable Aviation Futures Congress, one message stood out: scaling now depends on execution across the full value chain, from airlines and investors to policymakers. The challenge isn’t technology alone, it’s financing and bankability: securing offtake, feedstock and policy certainty. And as the industry moves beyond pilots, decarbonization is becoming a system-wide effort across fuels, infrastructure and operations. Progress will be defined by strong partnerships and proven delivery experience.
