30 innovative skills development initiatives have been selected from more than 130 applications across the globe to be featured in the first edition of Skills CoLab at WorldSkills Conference 2026, the unmissable skills event of the year. The projects span 21 countries and represent the full breadth of the skills development ecosystem, from Member-led initiatives driving national change to grassroots projects reimagining how skills are taught, assessed, and valued. The initiative aims to create direct opportunities for collaboration, cooperation and focused networking. Skills CoLab is only available to delegates of #WorldSkillsConference2026, which takes place alongside WorldSkills Shanghai 2026, the world's biggest skills competition.
