Congratulations to Wellesley High School, winner of WorldBoston’s 19th Annual John Carlson Academic WorldQuest competition. Follow WorldBoston and subscribe to our newsletter to stay updated on their progress and see how they perform on the national stage: https://lnkd.in/gUHEDVvX This year, our statewide competition was hosted at Bridgewater State University, and brought together 16 teams from across Massachusetts to test their knowledge on critical global issues, including international sports, U.S. foreign policy, and nuclear security. Wellesley High School earned first place with a score of 75 out of 100—an especially notable achievement in their first appearance at Academic WorldQuest in over a decade. The winning team will now represent Massachusetts at the National Academic WorldQuest Competition in Washington, D.C. on April 27–28, joining top students from across the United States. Thank you to all of the schools that participated this year in Academic WorldQuest: Boston Latin School, Somerset Berkley Regional High School, Millis High School, Boston College High School, Lexington High School, Nipmuc Regional High School, Frontier Regional High School, and the Global Affairs Club of Lincoln-Sudbury.
