That means BYD stayed ahead by roughly ๐Ÿณ๐Ÿณ,๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฌ ๐—•๐—˜๐—ฉ๐˜€, even though Tesla posted its strongest second quarter ever, with deliveries up around ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฑ% ๐˜†๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ-๐—ผ๐—ป-๐˜†๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ. Tesla had a very strong quarter, but BYD still managed to lead the global BEV market. The difference is increasingly about scale and geography. BYD is expanding rapidly outside China, with overseas sales becoming a much larger part of its growth.
