An encouraging sign that strong policies can work🌳 Translation: "A World Resources Institute study shows that global deforestation fell 36% in 2025, driven mainly by the reduction recorded in Brazil. Since 2023, we have resumed environmental policies, strengthened oversight and control agencies, and established partnerships with municipalities where the problem was most severe. As a result, we have recorded a 50% drop in deforestation in the Amazon over the last three years, following a sharp increase seen in previous years. Our goal is to reach zero deforestation by 2030. A body of work that preserves our biomes and positions Brazil as an example of environmental preservation for the world."
