In southwestern Uganda, a group of women leaders has spent decades restoring a threatened forest reserve. But doing the work was never enough on its own. They also had to prove it. With support from TerraFund, SWAGEN tracked their progress across 169 hectares using World Resources Institute's MRV framework, and had the results independently verified through satellite analysis.
