What are “climate services for health” — and why do they matter? These data-driven tools and activities help governments and communities anticipate how climate change will affect health, from heatwaves and disease outbreaks to disruptions in hospitals and care. They include: 🌦️Weather, climate and water data services ⚠️Early warning systems 🦠Disease surveillance 🌎Climate-informed health planning 🚑Emergency preparedness 📣Public awareness campaigns 🏥Climate-resilient health facilities New WRI Climate research, commissioned by The Rockefeller Foundation, shows these investments can deliver $4 to $68 in benefits for every $1 invested.
