🌎 In Chile, our Women in Energy programme has helped bridge the historical gender disparity in the country's energy sector by creating a platform to help train, and facilitate networking, young women energy professionals. Led by our Chilean Member Committee (World Energy Council | WEC Chile), the initiative has trained more than 350 women over nearly a decade, as well as provide critical insights into the challenges and demands they face within the broader energy ecosystem in Chile. Amplifying diverse voices and fostering collaboration gives us the ability to unlock new solutions for a more sustainable and equitable energy future; and an integral way of achieving that is by ensuring half of the world’s population are part of energy transitions as leaders, innovators, users, and decision-makers. Our Women in Energy programmes – spearheaded by our member committees across the world – aim to do just that by mentoring young women energy professionals, creating spaces for leadership growth and networking opportunities. πŸ‘‰ Find out more about World Energy Council | WEC Chile's "Women in Energy" programme here: https://lnkd.in/dghZMrfsY #energytransition #sustainability #womeninenergy #energyleadership #energyimpact
