π This year's World Energy Issues Monitor Europe regional report highlights a continent whose energy transition goals hinge upon its ability to continue to deliver resilient, affordable, and secure systems in a rapidly changing world. The challenge is no longer about resource availability but instead system readiness and execution at scale. β‘ Whatβs driving the change? β’ Peace and stability are now the region's biggest uncertainty β’ Grids are now the pacing factor for energy transitions β’ Market demands, supply chains, and investment decisions are increasingly being reshaped by global volatility. Countries across the region are stepping up to continue to deliver clean and inclusive transitions despite these challenges. From Spain's system reforms to strengthen the resilience of its high-renewables energy system, to Germany and France's grid expansions and mix of nuclear and renewable energy generation, Europe's energy leaders are continuing to progress amidst geopolitical turbulence. How best the region can build a future of more and better energy will depend on its ability to align infrastructure, policy regulations, and investments swiftly enough to meet rising demands.
