Climate impacts, rising pollution, and soaring industrial demand are putting the world’s #water systems at risk. Addressing this requires a structural shift in how water is sourced, reused and managed. To address this, the Transforming Water Systems Challenge, launched by UpLink – World Economic Forum, HCL Group and the World Economic Forum’s Food and Water Initiative, is calling for early-stage start-ups in the water sector - or #aquapreneurs - with innovations in 3 critical areas: reducing #freshwater dependence in critical industries, securing water supply reliability and next-generation #AI solutions. Challenge winners will receive a financial award of 175,000 CHF each and join the Aquapreneur Innovation Initiative, a global ecosystem of investors, experts, and leaders driving early-stage innovation to strengthen water security and economic #resilience worldwide.
