As part of Cencora's Month of Impact 2026, our team in Malaysia joined together to support their local community through blood donation and volunteering. In total, 41 units of blood were donated, including contributions from both our team members and members of the surrounding community. Just as importantly, colleagues gave their time, energy and care to help others. The need for blood donations remains constant around the world, helping healthcare providers care for patients during emergencies, surgeries and ongoing treatments. According to the World Health Organization's Global Status Report on Blood Safety and Availability, only three in five countries have enough voluntary donors to meet their populations' needs — and shortages disproportionately affect the most vulnerable, including women during childbirth complications, trauma victims, and cancer patients. That's why every donation matters. We're grateful to everyone who took part. Every donation, every hour volunteered and every act of kindness has the potential to help someone when they need it most.
