His take on what reps get wrong: trying to solve a trust problem with a pricing lever. In markets like Thailand, aggressive follow-up reads as disrespect. Discounts read as desperation. The deal doesn't move because the rep doesn't understand the actual block, which is rarely about price. The fix is structural. Bring in a local partner who can translate the culture, identify the real gatekeepers, and put the brand inside conversations the seller can't access on their own.
