The least reliable tool in your talent process might be human judgment. On the Delphi podcast with Dara Ladjevardian, Kian Katanforoosh put it bluntly: judging someone's skill by gut isn't just unreliable, it's becoming indefensible. Maybe even, one day, illegal. Think about how most talent calls still get made. A manager's impression. A resume from three years ago. A hunch in a hiring panel. We'd never accept that standard for a financial audit. Somehow we accept it for people's careers. The alternative isn't cold. It's fairer. When capability is measured on proof instead of instinct: → The quiet high performer stops getting overlooked → Bias has fewer places to hide → Everyone competes on what they can actually do That's the standard Workera is built on. Verified, evidence-based skills measurement that leaders can stand behind and employees can trust. Worth the listen if you make decisions about talent.
