David Martinon, Ambassador of France to South Africa, Lesotho and Malawi, as a speaker at the 5th WOMEN IN TECH ® Global Summit in Cape Town. A career diplomat with over three decades of experience at the highest levels of French and international diplomacy, Ambassador Martinon has served as France's Ambassador for Cyberdiplomacy and the Digital Economy, Press Secretary to the President of the French Republic, and Ambassador to Afghanistan. He was appointed to his current post by President Emmanuel Macron in 2023.
