Maybe women’s hesitation around AI isn’t imposter syndrome. Maybe it’s pattern recognition. In a recent CHIEF article, Jeanette Bronée argues that many women leaders are not “behind” on AI. They are standing at the edge of another room that was not built with them in mind and being asked, once again, to prove they belong. Source: https://lnkd.in/gnKMhiRp AI has changed the value of knowledge. When everyone can access information quickly, the edge is not simply knowing more but knowing what to do with that knowledge. That requires: ⚡ Judgment ⚡ Discernment ⚡ Systems thinking ⚡ Relational intelligence ⚡ The ability to understand how decisions affect people, culture, trust, and long-term capability We've branded these as "soft skills," but they are leadership infrastructure. And many women have been practicing them for years (reading the room, noticing what isn’t being said, sensing risk before it becomes visible, and understanding the human consequences of decisions before they show up in a dashboard). The opportunity now is not for women to squeeze themselves into an AI conversation designed by others. It is for women to help redesign the conversation. At Women Shaping AI, we believe women do not need to arrive as AI experts to belong in the AI conversation. They need curiosity, confidence, community, and the courage to trust their own intelligence. Women Shaping AI is a global community where women from all walks of life come together to learn about AI, build confidence and capability, and open doors for each other. If that resonates, we’d love to have you join us: www.womenshapingai.com #womenshapingai #womeninai #aileadership #futureofwork #chief #responsibleai
