We tracked 106 hires across real estate in Q2 of 2025 with the fund manager's job market seeing a declined activity quarter on quarter. Hires in investment roles made up 66% as moves in Investor Relations (IR) came in a distant second, making up 33% of the total. Featured key moves in real estate: - Real Estate (RE) equity accounted for almost 50% of Q2 appointments, followed by Infrastructure equity with almost 18%. - Of the appointments tracked by level, 74% were senior appointments. - Notable moves at Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, Basalt Infrastructure Partners, and PGIM show firms doubling down on capital formation and IR leadership, underscoring the centrality of fundraising amid tougher markets.
