📢 Startups and SMEs: it’s your time to shine! The WIPO Global Awards 2026 are now open for applications from small businesses and startups that make smart use of intellectual property for business growth and social impact. The competition recognizes outstanding businesses from around the world in the health, environment, creative industries, food & agriculture, and ICT sectors. This year, a new prize will be awarded in the sports category – linked to the theme of World IP Day 2026. Special mentions will recognize the best woman and best youth entrepreneur, selected from among the winning companies. Winners receive mentoring to support their IP strategies, including fundraising, partnership opportunities, publicity support, as well as an invitation to the Awards Ceremony at WIPO headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
