What brings leading politicians to Wingcopter? A glimpse into how ideas and vision become real-world high tech that creates scalable business opportunities and global impact. “Here, you can touch how a dream becomes reality.” That sentence from Kaweh Mansoori captured the spirit of the event at the Wingcopter HQ and strongly resonated with us.   We were honored to host the press conference for the presentation of the Start-up Strategy Hesse 2030 at Wingcopter.   Together with Prof. Dr. Kristina Sinemus, Hessian Minister for Digitalization and Innovation, Kaweh Mansoori, Minister for Economic Affairs, Energy, Transport, Housing and Rural Affairs, and Deputy to the Minister-President of Hesse, as well as Holger Follmann, Start-up Commissioner of the State of Hesse, and Walter Sinn, Chairman and Senior Partner at Bain & Company, our CEO Tom Plümmer outlined the future of Hessians innovation and start-up ecosystem to members of the press. For us, this visit sends an important signal: Start-ups are not only sources of bold ideas. They create jobs. They drive economic growth. They build industrial value. They turn research into real-world technology & impact.   Wingcopter itself is proof of the potential that exists in Hesse. We were founded here, continue to develop our dual-use technology here, and are scaling internationally from here. Today, our drones operate around the world – from medical and logistics support to the inspection and maintenance of critical infrastructure, as well as security and defense use cases.   A big thank you to everyone who joined us for this important conversation about the future of innovation for value-creation & growth in our region.   What do you think start-ups need most to scale deep-tech innovation in Germany and Europe? #Wingcopter #StartupStrategieHessen2030 #Hessen #Startups #Innovation
