Willis Re appoints Richard Jones to lead Asia operations    Today we are making an important announcement which marks the next step in our expansion. Richard Jones will be joining Willis Re, effective October 2026, subject to all regulatory approvals, to lead our operations in Asia. Based in Singapore, Richard will lead the buildout of Willis Re’s Singapore operations, playing a pivotal role in the establishment of our presence in the region. Richard will join from Gallagher Re, where he was most recently Chairman of APAC.    Lucy Clarke, Board Member of Willis Re, said: “We are thrilled to have Richard join the Willis Re team to lead the establishment of our activities in Asia. His regional knowledge and proven track record in shaping and executing strategy will be critical as we build our market presence.
