Yesterday, students and families were welcomed into our secondary schools for the first of three planned Y6 Transition Evenings. It provided an exciting opportunity for the next Y7 cohort to experience life at their new school, with a range of interactive taster sessions in Maths, English and Science on offer. Our Transition Evenings are part of our Trust’s wider Transition Programme, supporting students and families at every stage of the journey from primary to secondary school. The programme helps students develop strong learning habits that will support their future academic success, and concludes with a rollover period designed to ease them gently into secondary life.
