Take a look at Ms Pitchford's Story: "I attended Wickersley School and Sports College (WSSC) as a student, and always felt like I was given the best opportunities when I was in education. Post-18, I tried university, but it wasn't something I wanted to continue with, so I entered the world of work. I've held many different jobs from hospitality to carer. Once I had my children, I wanted to have a better work life balance and noticed a Teaching Assistant role appear at WSSC. Being a former student I knew I would feel right at home working back there, and applied. I was successful at my interview and ever since I began my role, I have felt like this is what I should have been doing my entire life. The Trust and the school have supported me no end in a role that was not familiar to me, but now feels like second nature."
