"Our dad has been with Whole Foods Market for more than 30 years!  He started in the produce department at Fresh Fields, and when they were acquired, he joined the Whole Foods team at the Willowbrook, Illinois location. He worked his way up through various roles, from a Produce Team Member all the way to the Midwest Produce Coordinator. Now, he’s a Produce Inventory Planner based in Austin, Texas. Growing up, he’d bring us into the office on take your child to work day, and we’d get to meet so many genuine people, suppliers and, of course, load up on food from the store. He always talked about his positive experience with the company and culture, which was evident to us with how long he has been here. His experience eventually led us all down our own path with Whole Foods, starting at our local store.  The three of us eventually transferred to the flagship Lamar store in Austin, and our dad would come down from the office to grab lunch and say hi. On many days, fellow team members would approach one of us, saying they had just met our dad (he loved talking us up at the registers).  Fast forward, and we’re all working together in the Austin Store Support office! While we’ve each ventured out on our own paths in the company, we often get to see each other while at work.
