We are proud about the successful delivery and installation of a new calibration wind tunnel for our valued customer Testo K.K. in Yokohama, Japan 🇯🇵 In close cooperation with Testo Industrial Services (Germany), our team at Westenberg Wind Tunnels completed the installation during the week of March 9–12, 2026. The delivered system is our WK 818040-E model — a compact Eiffel-type wind tunnel (open loop design) featuring a measurement section diameter of 180 mm. This configuration makes it ideally suited for the precise calibration of small-scale sensors such as Pitot tubes, hot-wire anemometers, and vane probes up to approximately 50 mm in diameter. Additionally, the wind tunnel has been equipped with an extended functionality to support the calibration of volumetric flow measurement hoods (flow hoods), including devices such as the Testo 420. This project highlights our continued commitment to delivering high-precision calibration solutions worldwide, tailored to the evolving needs of our partners in measurement and testing technology.
