Farewell, Jupiter. 🌍 No, not the planet. At our Bridgend site, Jupiter is the name of a paper machine that has shaped our story for more than five decades.  After more than five decades of service, it’s time to say goodbye.  Its retirement was marked by a special moment: three brothers who helped produce the very first reels on the Jupiter machine returned to Bridgend to celebrate its closure. It was a fitting tribute to see them present both at the beginning of Jupiter’s journey and at the end of this remarkable chapter.  Jupiter has played a key role in our history, supporting generations of employees and helping the site navigate challenging times. For many colleagues and families, it became a familiar part of everyday life and a symbol of resilience, teamwork, and dedication. While its retirement marks the end of an era, it also signals the beginning of an exciting new chapter. Our investment in a new paper machine reflects our commitment to the future of the Bridgend site and the people who make it successful. Thank you to everyone who operated, maintained, and cared for Jupiter over the past 55 years. Your expertise, commitment, and passion are what made this journey possible.  Thank you, Jupiter. 🫱🏼‍🫲🏼 While saying goodbye to a machine may sound unusual, anyone who has worked closely with one for years knows it's never just equipment.  Have you ever had to say farewell to a machine, tool, or workplace that held special memories? We'd love to hear your story in the comments. 👇
