Last week, Deloitte hosted a shipping seminar, covering a wide range of topics around AI, sustainability, cyber risks and tax. Daniel Jin Khee Ho and I had the opportunity to share with our shipping clients on the latest developments in Singapore shipping incentives, Pillar Two and what they mean in practice for them. I discussed a number of shipping-specific issues, including the International Shipping Income (ISI) exclusion and some of the practical challenges (like the strategic / commercial management condition) that businesses are encountering as implementation continues globally.
