Last week, Deloitte Singapore hosted our Budget 2026 Executive Dialogue, held as part of the Chief Tax Officer (#CTxO) Programme. The session brought together policymakers, industry leaders, and tax professionals for a discussion on Singapore’s evolving economic landscape and Budget 2026. During the panel session hosted by Rohan Solapurkar, we heard perspectives from Second Minister for Finance Indranee Rajah and Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Finance Shawn Wei Zhong Huang, which added useful policy context to the conversation. These platforms are increasingly important as the role of tax continues to evolve beyond technical delivery into a more integrated, business-facing function.
