A lot of legal AI focuses on incremental efficiency gains. Make x task faster or better. There are some amazing tools out there that do that, and my team is seeing impact. But we’re also experimenting with tools that more broadly change how we work and distribute information, specifically how we allow the business to self-service legal answers. The idea of self service in legal can feel scary - some of it definitely is. Is there such thing as safe self service in law? Everyone thinks AI can unlock it, but how do we do that without compromising fidelity? I want to have a system where every time a lawyer answers a question, that answer is searchable to the entire company, rather than withering in an unread policy or an inbox. I'll know it's working if we never get another slack double checking an EIN number, lol. I want to unleash self-service, but safely. We’re partnering with Josef to figure it out! Sam Flynn and I had a fun chat about all these ideas and more. Check us out: https://lnkd.in/dG29n6Ap. I’m headed to #TLTFSummit2025 🤠 (flights willing) to nerd about these topics and more for a few days. If you’re attending, come find me and say hello!
