‘People first’ is a nice corporate slogan, but what does it really mean? For Sol Gindi, head of Wells Fargo Advisors (WFA), it means listening to colleagues and customers. “Our people are passionate, and they know what they need,” said Sol. “Wealth management is fundamentally a people business built on relationships. The investments, planning tools, and products are important, but clients need to trust their advisor is looking out for them for the long game.” The ‘people first’ philosophy Sol employs at Wells Fargo extends to his commitments outside of the office as well. He's a member of the UNCF board of directors and was recently honored with UNCF New York’s 2026 Leadership Award during its annual gala. He received the award for dedicated leadership, commitment to financial empowerment, and advocacy for access to opportunity.
