Patrick (Paddy) Fletcher  Wejchert Architects are sad to announce the passing of our colleague, friend and former Joint Managing Director, Paddy Fletcher. He was a major figure in our Architectural Practice. His work included many educational projects ranging from UCD Sports Centre completed in 1980 to the new School Building at Mercy Convent , Naas completed last month, workplace buildings including ITI Media Centre ,Warsaw and 70 St. Stephens Green in Dublin City, and many ecclesiastical buildings including the transformation of Knock Basilica, Co. Mayo. He will be fondly remembered by many in the architectural world and construction industry including many younger architects to whom he passed on his wisdom in the design and delivery of buildings.
