Some customer relationships stick with you and I couldn't be more proud of what the teams accomplished together over the past years. Atruvia AG is no ordinary customer. They are the digital backbone of Germany's cooperative banking system - 900+ banks, 91 million accounts, 9.3 billion transactions a year. When Martin Pelke, Product Owner for Infrastructure as Code at Atruvia, described what they were dealing with before, it resonated deeply: "We were operating with a weird stack of tooling that you fuse together. And it was still always process-oriented rather than product-oriented." That kind of honest self-awareness is rare - and it's exactly what makes great transformations possible. Together with Lukas Essig and the entire Atruvia platform team, they didn't just adopt Terraform and Vault. They rebuilt how their engineers think and work. From ticket queues and Saturday night hotfixes to GitOps pipelines and self-service infrastructure. From months to hours. 3 months → 4 hours for cluster provisioning. Weeks → 15 minutes for a full network segment. But the number that matters most to me? The cultural one. As Lukas Essig put it: "We showed and didn't tell." That's the hardest part of any transformation - and they nailed it. Building the HashiCorp DACH business meant showing up for customers like this. Success stories like Atruvia don't happen without trust built over time, deep technical engagement, and a team on both sides that genuinely cares about getting it right.
