LLMs are impressively fast. The reality of business is impressively complex. The deeper companies seek to integrate generative AI into critical processes, the more apparent the real challenge becomes. Relevant knowledge is not confined to databases or wikis. It is embedded in implicit decisions, project experience, regulatory dependencies, informal processes and established organisational structures. It is precisely at this point that we work with #AICOM. Together with the #UniversityofExcellence Technische Universität Dresden, we are developing practical AI applications for business use as part of a research project funded by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) and the Free State of Saxony under the “InnoTeam” programme. The focus is on how the linguistic capabilities of large language models can be combined with the structural precision of knowledge graphs to create robust and productive business systems. After all, the next stage in the development of AI in a business context will not be driven by large language models alone. It will emerge where context, organisational knowledge, semantic structures and trustworthy AI architectures are brought together. We are delighted to have secured Prof. Dr. Michael Faerber, an internationally renowned expert in knowledge graphs, trustworthy AI and neurosymbolic systems, as a partner in this field. His research at TU Dresden and the ScaDS.AI AI centre is among the most influential work in precisely the field that will be crucial for the next generation of productive enterprise AI. For us, AI is not merely a technical issue. It is a strategic management issue at the intersection of organisation, knowledge, regulation and value creation. #AICOM #ArtificialIntelligence #KnowledgeGraphs #LLM #TrustworthyAI #WeichertMehner #TUDresden #ScaDSAI #ManagementConsulting
