Basic weather forecasts are everywhere, but accurate, timely decision-making requires a higher level of precision. In our relentless pursuit of that accuracy, we are constantly turning a complex, real-time stream of information from satellites, radar, and ground sensors into advanced, atmospheric intelligence. At the heart of this effort is our GRAF® (Global High-Resolution Atmospheric Forecasting) model. 🛰️ JEDI (Joint Effort for Data assimilation Integration) helps bring in new data sources faster, improving the quality of the information that feeds GRAF forecasts. That stronger foundation also improves the performance of our AI models, which rely on it to generate more reliable insights. 📊 Ensemble forecasting, developed in collaboration with NCAR, runs multiple models at once to surface a range of possible outcomes. This gives teams a clearer view of risk through probability rather than a single projection. ☁️ Cloud-based architecture on AWS keeps GRAF online during major weather events and scales instantly when demand spikes. This includes hyperlocal resolution down to 4 kilometers where operational decisions are made. Ultimately, this translates into earlier signals, clearer risk, and more confident decisions for individuals and businesses alike.
