Have you ever wondered what it’s like inside a Trona mine? WE Soda recovers Trona using solution mining in three of our plants but at Westvaco in Wyoming our colleagues go underground every day to mine the ore for our products. The US public broadcaster PBS has recently shown a documentary filmed at WE Soda’s Westvaco mine. It gives an amazing insight into the operations there, the history of the mine and also the working lives of our colleagues.
