This short documentary captures the largest Home for the Holidays Winter Salute ever — a day made possible by the generosity of our community. Each year, the Winter Salute brings Minnesota Veterans together at Target Field for a free holiday meal and direct access to vital resources, from housing and employment support to legal services and health care. More than anything, it’s a place where Veterans are welcomed, supported, and reminded they are not alone. Made possible through a partnership between WCCO, MACV Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans, the Minnesota Twins, and Wells Fargo, the Winter Salute reflects a shared commitment to ending Veteran homelessness in Minnesota.
