At the 2026 #WBGMeetings in Washington, D.C., MIGA Managing Director Tsutomu Yamamoto met with Norway’s Minister for International Development, Åsmund Grøver Aukrust, to discuss how the Norway–MIGA partnership is mobilizing private investment for climate action and in fragile and conflict-affected settings. Norway’s support helps de-risk investments and unlock private capital in high-impact markets, from Sub-Saharan Africa to Ukraine and the West Bank and Gaza.
