💧At Singapore International Water Week, discussions across the sector focused on how to move water and sanitation investment from plans to implementation. Key Takeaways ➡️Scaling finance requires clearer pathways and shared frameworks. ➡️Practical guidance to structure and mobilize investment is critical. While the need for investment is clear, private capital often lags due to political risks in emerging markets. MIGA guarantees help mitigate those risks and unlock private capital for essential water infrastructure. In Jordan, our guarantees backed the expansion of the As-Samra wastewater treatment plant, which today treats roughly 70% of the country's wastewater and serves 3.5 million people. In Rwanda, our guarantees supported a new bulk water facility addressing Kigali's acute water shortage. As #SIWW2026 concludes, the focus now is on turning partnerships, financing, and implementation pathways into results. 🔗 More on MIGA's water guarantees: https://www.miga.org/water
