From early career scientists to lifetime contribution, ASMS highlights the breadth of impact across the mass spectrometry community. Special mention goes to: ➡️Isabella Jones, Applications Student Scientist at Waters and Biochemistry undergraduate at the University of Birmingham, who received an Undergraduate Poster Award for her work on native top-down protein analysis using the Cyclic IMS P20 Mass Spectrometer. ➡️Lance Nicolaysen, Senior Director, Americas Field Marketing, who was welcomed to the 2026 Class of ASMS Fellows for sustained service to the community, with 2026 marking his 39th year at ASMS. ➡️Kevin Giles, recently retired from Waters, who received the Al Yergey MS Scientist Award for his profound contributions to MS instrumentation—from the developement of the Stepwave™ ion guide and Travelling Wave (T-Wave™) separation device to the design and commercialization of cyclic ion mobility and charge detection mass spectrometry. Congratulations to all on these well-deserved recognitions!
