We are excited to have three finalists heading to the Australian Water Association’s NSW Heads of Water Gala Dinner and Awards tonight for their important work at the source 🌟: 1️⃣ Prospect Reservoir automatic surveying system – Infrastructure Project Innovation Excellence Award To improve safety and meet regulatory obligations, our team has introduced a modern, automated, data-driven survey monitoring system at Prospect Dam, replacing traditional periodic inspections with continuous, intelligence-led surveillance. 2️⃣Using AI integrated with SCADA to estimate dam water releases – R&D Excellence Award We introduced artificial intelligence (AI) to improve how we estimate water releases from one of our major dams. By integrating AI with SCADA technology, we’ve replaced manual calculations with a smart, automated system that delivers fast and accurate results. 3️⃣From Catchment to Community: Working in Partnership to Build Safer and More Resilient Water Supply in Regional NSW – Organisational Excellence We partnered with local utilities across over 40 water sources to address water quality challenges in regional NSW. We worked together to identify hazards and provided tailored risk-reducing tools, monitoring support and practical recommendations to strengthen local capability and support safer, more resilient drinking water supplies for regional communities.
