Good digital systems should feel almost invisible: fewer steps, clearer pathways, and less time spent working out “what do I do next?” 🧑‍💻 That was the aim of the Water Market System (WMS), a customer-centred platform delivered with the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (NSW DCCEEW) and the NSW Natural Resources Access Regulator (NRAR) to bring key water market processes into one streamlined experience for our customers. By integrating workflows across the three agencies and introducing automation, WMS is helping: ✅customers navigate the system more easily, and ✅our teams deliver their work more efficiently and consistently. We are proud to see that work recognised, with WaterNSW named a finalist in the 2026 iTnews Benchmark Awards for the WMS project. 🏅 These awards spotlight IT programs delivering meaningful outcomes and will be announced tomorrow. #WaterNSW
