Last week we came together as part of Reconciliation Week to hear the story of one of our leaders, Barry Philp - Maintenance Team Leader Menindee. ⏳🗣️ Barry shared some of his life’s learnings and experiences living and working in his hometown of Menindee. He reflected on his childhood in Menindee and taking on an apprenticeship in the water industry – what turned out to be the beginning of his 35 years working in water, and ultimately with WaterNSW. 🏈💧 A proud Ngiyeempaa man and leader for WaterNSW, he guides his team to use their knowledge, passion and expertise to manage water responsibly, to support local communities. 🙏 💦Barry is an incredible source of water knowledge and expertise, coupled with his spiritual and cultural connection to our land and waterways. His passionate, caring and humble nature are a great asset to our WaterNSW team. Thank you for sharing your story with us all, Barry.
