From Karratha to Albany, Water Corporation team members across the state were 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐈𝐍 for National Reconciliation Week (NRW). We consider this an important time for reflection, learning and connection - and something we’re proud to support as we continue building respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Throughout the week, our team members engaged in meaningful moments that brought these values to life. We marked the beginning with National Sorry Day, where Nick Abraham from Warrang-Bridil joined us for a yarning circle, creating space to reflect on the importance of history and culture. That spirit of learning continued through drop-in sessions hosted by our Aboriginal Strategy and Reconciliation team, giving team members the opportunity to ask questions and continue their reconciliation journey. Across our regions, teams also took time to learn more about their local water stories and explored the deep connection between water and Country. We’re proud to see our people come together in these meaningful ways to contribute to reconciliation.
