On this International Women’s Day, we honor women who changed the world with courage, intelligence, and determination. In sciences it is commom the references about outstanding examples: Marie Curie – Nobel laureate, pioneer in radioactivity. • Rosalind Franklin – revealed the structure of DNA. • Ada Lovelace – the first computer programmer. • Jane Goodall – transformed our understanding of animal behavior. • Tu Youyou – discovered a life-saving malaria treatment. • Katherine Johnson – NASA mathematician behind Apollo 11’s success. Today I would like to include the women who may not appear in history books, but who, as leaders I’ve met along my professional journey, inspire me every day through their stories, careers, and lives — @Dra. Sandra Abrahão, @Cecilia Achcar, @Erika Fortes, @Fernanda Fantini, Cheryl Donnelly, Carla Mack, OD, MBA, FAAO, Dip(AAO), FBCLA . Thank you!!
