On this International Women’s Day, we honor women who changed the world with courage, intelligence, and determination. In sciences it is commom the references about outstanding examples: Marie Curie – Nobel laureate, pioneer in radioactivity. • Rosalind Franklin – revealed the structure of DNA. • Ada Lovelace – the first computer programmer. • Jane Goodall – transformed our understanding of animal behavior. • Tu Youyou – discovered a life-saving malaria treatment. • Katherine Johnson – NASA mathematician behind Apollo 11’s success.
