We are still thinking about last week's The Research Society Government and Social Research Conference last week in Canberra.   A warm thank you to Jackie Coates from the Telstra Foundation for joining Luke Starick to close the State of the Nation session with Amplifying Youth Voices on Digital Lives. Jackie’s generosity in sharing her knowledge and passion, and in clearly demonstrating the ‘why’ of this important research, resonated across the room.   We also want to extend our thanks to the conference organisers and program committee for all the work that went into making the event such a success, including our own Tori Hunt. From working through a huge number of submissions to shaping a rich program, they did a wonderful job of bringing together such an informative day.   As always, it was a pleasure to reconnect with colleagues from across the sector (it is always easy to spot the Melburnians near the coffee cart), enjoy Canberra at its best, and be part of a community that is so open, collaborative, and engaged. We are already looking forward to next year.
