Today, Sycamore Partners announced that the acquisition of Walgreens Boots Alliance is complete. With the transaction now closed: - Walgreens, Boots UK, CareCentrix, Shields Health Solutions and VillageMD will operate as separate and distinct companies within Sycamore’s portfolio. - WBA's common stock has ceased trading and will no longer be listed on the Nasdaq.  This milestone marks a new chapter for all organizations, but our commitment to millions of customers, patients and team members around the world is unwavering and will continue to guide our decisions, our actions and our purpose moving forward.
