𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐧 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡!   At our 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 (𝐁𝐏𝐈𝐏), a range of new technological research projects will take shape. In addition to the planned renovation of the facility, we have been granted an investment under the 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝 (BioBased Circular) to acquire new equipment across the entire value chain : from biomass processing to end applications. These investments will ensure that the BPIP remains state-of-the-art, increases flexibility during research execution, and becomes even more accessible to industry partners as a shared facility. From lab to pilot scale, we offer capabilities for: 🔹 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 into building blocks for chemicals and plastics through chemical, enzymatic, or fermentative routes 🔹 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞-𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬, including polymers and plastics 🔹 Processing these materials into 𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 🔹 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 into new feedstocks 🔹 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐢𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐫 of materials that may end up in the environment. With these developments, we aim to accelerate innovation and strengthen collaboration with companies striving for a circular and biobased future.
