In Executive Trainings, I emphasize a crucial distinction: the Budget owner versus the Budget distributor. Most professionals focus on the owner, but the real power lies with the distributor in other words “CEO “ who decides how resources are allocated. What sets today’s L&D leaders apart is not being “an L&D professional with business skills,” but rather a business leader with an L&D mindset. This shift changes everything. To influence the sole distributor, you must do more than speak their language — you must internalize their WIIFM (“What’s in it for me”). When you connect learning initiatives directly to the CEO’s priorities: growth, innovation, retention, or competitive edge, you transform budget discussions into strategic negotiations. All of this begins with one question: What are CEOs looking For? Kareem ElHennawi M Abdallah Sallam Bassem Emad Mohamed Samy Lamise A. Negm WMD Karim Baraka The Trainer
