✨ Supporting people in challenging environments is part of who we are at WACKER. Through the WACKER Relief Fund's donation program, WACKER employees provide effective aid for self-help – and the company offers additional support. ✨ Now, the foundation is supporting new projects: the Railway Station Missions in Bavaria, and a hospital in Togo. There, in the Kingdom of Zooti, the foundation has financed a solar power system, because a reliable power supply is a key factor in the hospital's operations. ✨ Also in Togo, the WACKER Relief Fund has implemented two further sustainable projects: An energy-efficient water kiosk provides clean drinking water for the schoolchildren of Adjegan and their families. A second water kiosk in Kpessi provides drinking water in a clean and energy-efficient manner. ✨ The Relief Fund was established in 2005 – following the devastating 2004 tsunami in Asia – and has been doing good work around the world ever since. For example, the donation program helps ensure the ongoing operation of schools in crisis-stricken regions. In Kosgoda, Sri Lanka, the WACKER Relief Fund has been supporting the WACKER College for more than two decades. ✨ An employee donation program ensures support in the long term.
