Mission accomplished! 🏭🚀 After two years of construction, we officially opened our new production facility for specialty silicones in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, today. Another milestone in WACKER’s commitment to grow its specialties business has now been completed. Customers, politicians, our landlord Accolade and our developer Panattoni Development Company gathered at the new site to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony. In the future, Karlovy Vary will produce highly customized ready to use silicones for growth markets in the field of electric mobility, electronics, medical technology, and grid expansion.
