Inside IO-Link: Keep an eye on the supply voltage! In modern automation systems, every second counts – and every voltage value. Our IO-Link encoders enable continuous monitoring of the supply voltage directly at the sensor input. What does that achieve? Voltage drops, surges or dips are detected at an early stage. This allows potential failures – such as those caused by a defective power supply unit – to be prevented. That's predictive maintenance in action! How does the evaluation process work? The data is collected via IO-Link or directly in the control system and reported as events. Integration into cloud monitoring is also possible without any problems.
