Grainger’s summer volunteerism is heating up! From supporting literacy initiatives to celebrating community and connection, hundreds of team members are making a meaningful difference: • 90 interns volunteered at Bernie’s Book Bank, helping prepare books for local students • The Janesville team served as site volunteers at the Special Olympics Wisconsin event, supporting athletes and helping deliver a positive, experience, celebrating hope and community connection • 1,000+ team members came together in Lake Forest to celebrate our welcoming culture while enjoying summer food, music, and swag - reminding us why Grainger is such a great place to work • Teams donated 400+ school supplies and created bookmarks for United Way of Lake County – Illinois “Stuff the Bus” program, helping local students start the school year strong • Volunteers assembled 40 graduation kits for YouthBuild Lake County's students, providing hands-on support to celebrate and equip students as they complete the program and transition to their next chapter Together, these moments reflect the power of showing up for each other and for the communities we serve.
